Frequently Asked Questions

What else can I do to minimize stress later?

Take an inventory of all the things you own early on (maybe while you pack or unpack), so you have an idea of what you own and how much coverage you may need to replace your belongings.  After a fire or unfortunate event, it’s easy to forget about details that went into creating your home and what everything cost, and even easier to forgot to account for the small things like toothpaste or a picture frame.

We recommend that you take a time now to make a record of your belongings which will help minimize the worry later i.e. take pictures or video footage of all your valuable possessions. Keep in a safe place (an email or drive) that can access at a later date and serve to substantiate your claim.
